Description
The Deva Wide Outer is a linear module that clips onto the Deva magnetic track and spreads a broad sheet of light rather than a spot. It holds by magnet on the 24V rail, its outward-facing emitter throwing a wide, soft band across the surface it faces. Lit, it reads as a continuous line of warm light; off, the slim black bar sits low along the black profile as part of the same run.
The bar is 646mm long, 30mm tall and projects 10.5mm, a mid-length section that can butt against other Deva modules to build a longer line. Its wide spread suits general and grazing light, so it works along a ceiling to wash a wall, over a corridor or above a work surface where you want an even field of light rather than separate pools, drawn from a track that can also carry spots and disc heads.
The body is coated matt black aluminium with an integrated LED giving 1350 lumens at 3000K warm white, at a CRI above 90 so colours read true. It is an ON-OFF module rated IP20 for dry indoor rooms, powered from the Deva track and its separate 24V driver rather than from a mains feed of its own.

Frequently Asked
What kind of light does the Deva Wide Outer give?
A broad, even sheet of light. The integrated LED gives 1350 lumens at 3000K warm white from a wide outward-facing emitter, so it lays a continuous band across a wall or surface rather than a directed beam. Its CRI is above 90, so colours stay accurate.
Does it need a bulb or a driver?
No bulb, as the LED is integrated and included. It does need the Deva track and a separate 24V driver, because it draws power from the rail, so it is fitted as part of a Deva track run rather than wired on its own.
What does Wide Outer mean, and how does it differ from Wide Inner?
Wide Outer is the deeper module, 30mm tall and projecting 10.5mm, with an outward-facing emitter for a broad wash. The Wide Inner is a slimmer in-profile line (12mm tall, 4.6mm deep) for tighter grazing. Choose Outer for a fuller sheet of light.
Where does it suit?
It is a wall-wash and general-light module for a Deva track along a ceiling line, corridor or above a work surface. At 646mm it forms a mid-length run and can join other Deva sections for a longer continuous line.
