Description

The Deva Big spot is a rounded head that clips onto the Deva magnetic track and tilts to point where you need it. Wider in the face than the small Deva spot, it holds by magnet on the 24V rail and can be slid or angled along the profile by hand. Lit, it lays down a soft 38 degree cone of warm light with a gentler edge than a tight beam; off, the squat black disc sits low against the black track.

The head is 60mm across and 55mm tall, a compact round form that reads as a low button on the rail. Its broader beam covers a little more than a narrow accent, which suits a seating corner, a wider picture, a run of shelving or a spot where you want directed light that still spreads, drawn from a track that can carry other Deva fittings alongside it.

The body is coated matt black aluminium with an integrated LED giving 500 lumens at 3000K warm white, at a CRI above 90 so colours read true. It is an ON-OFF module rated IP20 for dry indoor rooms, running from the Deva track and its separate 24V driver rather than from its own mains connection.

What kind of light does the Deva Big spot give?

A soft, directed cone. The integrated LED gives 500 lumens at 3000K warm white through a 38 degree optic, so it covers a slightly wider area than a tight accent while still aiming the light. CRI is above 90, so colours stay accurate.

Does it need a bulb or a driver?

No bulb, as the LED is built in and included. It does need the Deva track and a separate 24V driver, because it draws power from the rail, so it is fitted as part of a Deva track layout rather than wired on its own.

Can it be aimed and moved?

Yes. It attaches to the magnetic track by magnet, so it can be repositioned along the rail and the head tilted to change the aim, with no rewiring.

How does it differ from the smaller Deva spot?

This is the Big head, 60mm across with a wider 38 degree beam, against the compact spot's tighter 30 degree throw. Choose it where you want directed light that spreads a little more over a seating area, a broad picture or shelving.
