Description

The Delta is a slim rectangular wall bar that casts light in two directions at once, up the wall above and down over the surface below. The body is a powder-coated aluminium extrusion in black, 610mm long and 90mm tall, projecting only 35mm from the wall so it sits close and reads as a fine dark line when off. Behind a shiny opal polycarbonate face run five G9 lamps whose glow the diffuser softens into an even band rather than five separate hot points.

That paired up and down wash is what gives the fitting its presence. Light grazing upward lifts the wall plane and adds a sense of height, while the downward spread lands on a console, a sofa or a stretch of landing beneath. The opal face keeps the output soft and continuous, so the wall reads as a gentle glow close to the surface instead of a hard line. At 610mm the bar carries a longer horizontal line, filling a wider wall above a bed or a run of shelving.

We supply it ready to wire in with five G9 lamps included, each drawing up to 4W, so nothing extra is bought to light it. The frame is powder-coated aluminium in matt black and the face is opal polycarbonate. Rated IP20 for dry indoor rooms, its colour tone follows whichever G9 lamps are used, so a warmer or cooler feel can be set at the bulb.

What kind of light does the Delta give?

A soft two-way wash. The bar throws light up the wall and down over the surface below, and the opal polycarbonate face blends its five G9 lamps into an even band rather than separate points. The effect grazes the plane it sits on, adding depth to a wall rather than one bright spot.

Does it come with bulbs?

Yes. Five G9 lamps are included, each rated up to 4W, so the fitting arrives ready to light. If one ever needs replacing, G9 is a common cap stocked widely.

What colour of light will it give?

That follows the G9 lamps fitted. As supplied it takes standard G9 bulbs, so a warm white or a cooler white can be chosen at the bulb to suit the room. We are glad to advise before you order.
