Description

The Delta is a slim wall bar that sits flat against the wall and throws light both up and over it, so the glow washes the surface above and below rather than pointing into the room. The light comes from an integrated LED behind shiny opal polycarbonate diffusers at the top and bottom edges, which spread the output into two soft bands and keep the source itself hidden. Lit, it reads as two warm lines climbing and falling across the wall while the black body stays dark; unlit, it is a low matt bar that projects only a little way out.

This is the 410mm size in black, a little longer than the compact model, projecting 90mm from the wall on a body just 35mm tall. The horizontal form and up-and-down throw suit it over a console, along a hallway or above a headboard, singly or repeated in a run. Here the LED runs at 3000K, a warm white that keeps a living room, landing or bedroom soft and settled after dark.

The body is powder-coated aluminium in black with opal polycarbonate diffusers. The integrated LED gives 1550 lumens at 3000K with a CRI above 90 for honest colour, and is rated to 35,000 hours, so there is no bulb to fit and it lights as soon as it is wired. It is rated IP20 for dry indoor rooms.

Do I need to buy a bulb?
