Description

The Delta is a slim wall bar that sits flat against the wall and throws light both up and over it, so the glow washes the surface above and below rather than pointing into the room. Behind shiny opal polycarbonate diffusers along the top and bottom edges sit three small G9 lamps, spread so their light leaves as two soft bands with the bulbs themselves hidden. Lit, it reads as two clean lines climbing and falling across the wall; unlit, it is a low white bar that projects only a little way out.

This is the 300mm size in white, the compact bulb version of the range, projecting 35mm from the wall on a body 90mm tall. Because it takes three replaceable G9 bulbs rather than a fixed LED, you set the brightness and warmth by the lamps you fit; we would suggest 3000K G9 LED capsules to keep the wash warm and even. The small footprint and up-and-down throw suit a hallway, a stairwell or beside a bed, singly or in a run.

The body is powder-coated aluminium in white with opal polycarbonate diffusers. It takes three G9 lamps of up to 4W each, and the bulbs are supplied in the box, so it can light straight away once wired. It is rated IP20 for dry indoor rooms.

What kind of light does the Delta give?

A soft two-way wash. Three G9 lamps sit behind opal diffusers at the top and bottom, so light leaves in two bands, up and down the wall, rather than as a beam into the room. The brightness and warmth follow the bulbs you fit.

Does it come with bulbs?

Yes. It takes three G9 lamps of up to 4W each, and the bulbs are included, so it can light straight away. You can still swap them later, and we would suggest 3000K G9 LED capsules for a warm, even wash.

Is it dimmable?

The fitting has no driver of its own, so dimming depends on the bulbs fitted. With dimmable G9 lamps on a compatible dimmer the light can be lowered; we can advise before you order.

How big is it and where does it suit?

It is 300mm long, 90mm tall and projects 35mm from the wall. The compact size and up-and-down throw suit a hallway, stairwell or bedside, singly or in a run.
