Description

The Delta is a slim rectangular wall bar that throws light in two directions at once, up the wall above it and down the surface below. The body is a powder-coated aluminium extrusion in black, 300mm long and only 90mm tall, projecting just 35mm from the wall so it sits close and reads as a fine painted line when off. Behind a shiny opal polycarbonate face sit three G9 lamps whose glow the diffuser softens, so the fitting gives an even band of light rather than three separate hot points.

That twin up and down wash is what shapes a room. Light grazing the wall lifts the whole plane and adds height, while the downward spread lands on whatever sits beneath, a console, a headboard or a stretch of hallway. Because the diffuser evens the lamps out, the effect is a soft glow close to the surface instead of a hard beam. At 300mm this is the shortest bar in the range, suited to a narrow space such as beside a door, over a mirror or flanking a bed.

We supply it ready to wire in with three G9 lamps included, each drawing up to 4W, so nothing separate is bought to light it. The frame is powder-coated aluminium in matt black and the face is opal polycarbonate. Rated IP20 for dry indoor rooms, its colour tone follows whichever G9 lamps are fitted, so a warmer or cooler feel can be set at the bulb.

What kind of light does the Delta give?

A soft two-way wash. The bar sends light up the wall and down over the surface below, and the opal polycarbonate face blends the three G9 lamps into an even band rather than separate points. The result grazes the plane it sits on, adding depth to a wall instead of a single bright spot.

Does it come with bulbs?

Yes. Three G9 lamps are included, each rated up to 4W, so the fitting arrives ready to light. Should one ever need changing, G9 is a common cap sold widely.

What colour of light will it give?

That follows the G9 lamps fitted. As supplied it takes standard G9 bulbs, so a warm white or a cooler white can be chosen at the bulb to suit the room. We are glad to advise before you order.
