The Delmar is a 500mm square flush ceiling light built around a frosted glass panel with a clear glass rim, an antique brass backplate, and a central cluster of Asfour crystal spheres suspended above the brass. The fitting houses six G9 bulbs (sold separately) behind the glass, with the frosted panel diffusing the light output while the clear rim remains translucent and the crystal spheres refract illumination into warm highlights across the brass surface.

Designed for rooms with standard or low ceiling heights where a pendant would sit too low, the Delmar projects 150mm from the ceiling and suits bedrooms, hallways, landing areas and living rooms up to approximately 15-18 square metres. The flush mount means no hanging chain or rod, so the fitting sits tight to the ceiling and provides full headroom clearance. The square footprint and 500mm width make it a centred fitting above a double bed or a hallway runner.

The antique brass finish shows a warm, slightly aged patina that pairs well with traditional, transitional and warm-toned contemporary interiors. The Asfour crystal spheres are lead-free cut crystal, each sphere refracting light differently depending on viewing angle. The frosted glass panel moderates brightness to prevent glare when viewed from below, while the clear rim allows some direct light transmission around the perimeter, giving definition to the square edges when lit. At 6.3kg the fitting requires secure fixing into a ceiling joist or appropriate anchor.

The Delmar is dimmable when paired with dimmable G9 LED bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch. Most users pair this with warm-white G9 LEDs between 3W-5W per bulb and 2700K-3000K colour temperature, giving a combined output of 18-30W across the six sockets.

Is the Delmar suitable for low ceilings?

Yes. The flush mount design projects only 150mm from the ceiling, making it appropriate for rooms with ceiling heights of 2.3m or lower where a pendant light would hang too far into the room and reduce headroom.

What bulbs does it take?

The Delmar takes six G9 capsule bulbs up to 33W each. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users fit G9 LED bulbs between 3W-5W in warm white (2700K-3000K) for ambient bedroom or hallway lighting.

Is it dimmable?

Yes, when paired with dimmable G9 bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch. Standard non-dimmable G9 LEDs will not dim and may flicker if used with a dimmer.
