Delmar 6 Light Crystal Flush Ceiling Light - Polished Chrome

The Delmar is a 500mm flush ceiling light combining a frosted glass diffuser with a cluster of Asfour cut crystal spheres at the centre, all housed in a polished chrome frame. Six G9 bulbs (sold separately) sit behind the frosted glass and illuminate both the diffuser and the crystal cluster, which sits above a mirrored chrome backing plate that reflects and multiplies the light from each crystal facet.

Designed for rooms with ceiling heights of 2.3-2.5m where a pendant would hang too low, the Delmar provides the decorative presence of a crystal fitting without needing drop height. The 150mm projection from the ceiling makes it suitable for bedrooms, hallways, living rooms and low-ceiling dining rooms. The frosted glass softens the overall light output while the clear glass rim around the edge creates a bright halo effect when the lamps are on, framing the fixture visually against the ceiling.

The polished chrome finish pairs with contemporary interiors using glass, steel and light-toned furniture. The combined weight of the crystal spheres, glass diffuser and chrome frame totals 5.5kg, requiring secure fixing to a ceiling joist or reinforced plasterboard anchor. The G9 fittings accept LED, halogen or filament capsule bulbs up to 33W each, and the fixture is dimmable when paired with dimmable G9 bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch.

Is the Delmar dimmable?

Yes, when fitted with dimmable G9 bulbs and connected to a compatible dimmer switch. The fixture itself supports dimming but requires dimmable lamps to function correctly.

What bulbs does it take?

Six G9 capsule bulbs, maximum 33W each. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users fit 3-5W LED G9 bulbs in warm white (2700K-3000K) for ambient lighting.

What ceiling height does it suit?

The 150mm projection makes the Delmar suitable for rooms with ceiling heights between 2.3m and 2.5m where a pendant would hang too low. It works in standard UK residential ceiling heights without the fitting appearing visually heavy.

How is the crystal cleaned?

Switch off the mains supply before cleaning. Wipe the crystal spheres with a dry microfibre cloth. For stubborn marks, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable. Avoid household sprays or chemical cleaners on the chrome or crystal surfaces.
