The Delmar is a 500mm flush ceiling light built around a two-layer glass disc — a frosted centre surrounded by a clear outer rim — with a cluster of Asfour crystal spheres sitting above an antique brass backplate at the centre. Six G9 bulbs (sold separately) sit behind the frosted glass, providing diffused ambient light that illuminates both the glass layers and the crystal cluster.

Designed for rooms with low ceiling heights where a pendant would intrude into the space, the Delmar mounts flush with a 150mm projection from ceiling to lowest point. The 500mm diameter suits living rooms, bedrooms, dining rooms and hallways where a central ceiling light is needed without vertical drop. The frosted glass softens the light output while the clear outer rim catches and refracts the glow, giving a defined edge to the fitting when lit.

The antique brass finish on the central backplate and outer canopy provides a warm metallic accent that deepens the refracted light from the crystal spheres. The Asfour crystals are facet-cut to throw highlights across the ceiling and surrounding walls when the bulbs are on. Is the Delmar suitable for low ceilings?

What bulbs does it take?

The Delmar takes six G9 capsule bulbs up to 33W each. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white LED G9 bulbs between 3W-5W and 2700K-3000K for ambient living room lighting.

Is it dimmable?
