Deco Rectangle Wall Mirror - Silver

The Deco is a 91x66cm rectangle wall mirror with a stepped silver resin frame and bevelled glass. The frame uses a triple-step profile that creates shadow lines around the perimeter, adding depth to what would otherwise be a flat surround. The silver finish is polished to a mid-sheen that reflects light without the high glare of chrome or the warmth of brass.

Designed for hallways, bedrooms and living rooms where vertical wall space allows for a taller mirror, the Deco works as a functional dressing mirror in a bedroom or as a light-enhancing fixture opposite a window in a narrow hallway. The 91cm height provides a near-full-length reflection when wall-mounted at standard height (approximately 60-80cm from floor to lower edge). The bevelled edge on the glass softens the transition between frame and reflection.

The resin frame construction keeps the weight to 7-20kg depending on the glass specification, making it lighter than an equivalent solid-wood or metal-framed mirror of the same size. The silver finish pairs with cool-toned interiors, greys, whites and chrome fixtures, and the neutral tone allows it to sit alongside both contemporary and traditional furniture without clashing. The 3.5cm frame depth provides enough projection for the stepped profile to cast visible shadow lines under side lighting or daylight from a nearby window.

How is the mirror hung?

The mirror uses D-rings or keyhole brackets on the rear of the frame (exact fixing method depends on production batch). Wall fixings are not included. For a mirror of this size and weight, use appropriate wall plugs and screws rated for the wall type (plasterboard, masonry, solid wall) and ensure fixings are placed into studs or use heavy-duty plasterboard anchors where studs are not available.

Can it be hung horizontally as well as vertically?

The 91x66cm orientation is designed for vertical hanging (portrait). Horizontal hanging is possible if the rear fixings allow it, but the proportions are better suited to vertical use in hallways and bedrooms.

Is the glass bevelled?

Yes. The mirror glass has a bevelled edge that creates a subtle border between the glass surface and the inner edge of the frame.

How is the silver finish cleaned?

Wipe the resin frame with a soft, dry microfibre cloth. For stubborn marks, a barely-damp cloth is acceptable, but avoid soaking the frame or using household sprays that may dull the finish. Clean the glass with standard glass cleaner and a lint-free cloth.
