Description

The Deco is a 91 x 66cm rectangle wall mirror with a dual-tone frame that combines an outer dark bronze edge with an inner champagne-silver stepped moulding. The frame is constructed from moulded resin finished to resemble wood grain, with the two-tone effect providing visual depth and allowing the mirror to bridge warm and cool colour palettes within the same room.

Designed for hallway, living room and bedroom placement, the Deco works as a full-length dressing mirror when hung vertically or as a landscape feature mirror above a console table or fireplace when hung horizontally. The 91cm height allows head-to-waist reflection when wall-mounted at standard height, making it functional for outfit checks in an entrance hall. The 3.5cm frame depth gives the mirror a visible profile from the side without dominating a narrow hallway.

The resin construction keeps the weight between 7-20kg depending on the glass thickness, lighter than a comparable solid wood frame while retaining the visual texture of grained timber. The bronze outer edge anchors the frame visually, while the champagne-silver inner moulding reflects ambient light back into the room, reducing the hard shadow line typical of single-tone dark frames. D-ring or keyhole fixings on the reverse allow both portrait and landscape hanging.

Yes. The mirror can be hung in either orientation depending on the fixing points on the reverse. Most users hang it vertically in hallways for full-length use, or horizontally above console tables and mantels.

What wall fixings are needed?

For a mirror weighing up to 20kg, use two heavy-duty mirror plates or D-ring hangers fixed into wall plugs rated for the combined weight. Plasterboard walls require cavity fixings or a batten fixed into studs.

Is the frame real wood?

No. The frame is moulded resin finished to resemble wood grain. This keeps the weight lower than solid timber while providing a durable, moisture-resistant finish suitable for bathrooms and hallways.

How is the frame cleaned?

Wipe the resin frame with a damp microfibre cloth. For the mirror glass, use a standard glass cleaner or a 50:50 mix of white vinegar and water, sprayed onto the cloth rather than directly onto the glass to avoid liquid running behind the frame edge.
