Description

The Deco is a 91 x 66cm rectangle wall mirror built around a three-layer resin frame finished in bronze lacquer. The frame steps inward through black, weathered bronze and taupe layers, each layer recessed to create depth and shadow against the wall. The bronze lacquer has a low-sheen finish that catches light without creating hard reflections.

Designed for living rooms, bedrooms and hallways with wall space above a sideboard or console table, the Deco fills vertical wall areas without requiring floor clearance. The 91cm height suits walls with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, while the 66cm width pairs well with furniture pieces between 100-140cm wide set beneath it. The mirror can be hung portrait or landscape depending on the wall proportions.

The layered resin frame construction keeps the overall weight manageable at 3.5cm projection from the wall, with the stepped profile giving the appearance of a much deeper, heavier traditional frame without the mass. The bronze lacquer finish sits between antique brass and aged copper in tone, pairing with both warm wood interiors and cooler grey schemes. The resin material resists moisture better than wood frames, making it suitable for bedrooms and dressing areas where humidity levels fluctuate.

Can this mirror be hung landscape or portrait?

Yes. The frame design works in both orientations. The hanging hardware on the back of the frame determines the orientation — check the bracket position before fixing to the wall.

What wall fixings are needed?

The mirror requires two secure wall fixings rated for the weight of the frame and glass. On plasterboard walls, use heavy-duty plasterboard anchors or fix into wall studs. On masonry, standard wall plugs and screws are sufficient.

How is the bronze lacquer maintained?

Wipe the frame with a dry microfibre cloth to remove dust. For marks or fingerprints, a barely-damp cloth is acceptable, but avoid soaking the resin. Do not use chemical cleaners, polishes or abrasive materials on the lacquered finish.

Is the mirror bevelled?
