Description

This is our Deck The Halls velvet cushion, a 43 x 43cm square built around a festive Christmas tree design set against a snowy ivory-white velvet ground. The tree is dressed with vintage-style ornaments, baubles and bells, some of them worked in gold embroidery so they catch the light and stand slightly proud of the printed detail. A gold star sits at the top, wrapped presents gather at the base, and scattered gold dots and stars fill the space around the tree. Red pom-poms finish each of the four corners.

A cushion like this is made for the season rather than the whole year, and it earns its keep from late November onwards. Drop it onto a sofa, an armchair or a bench in the hallway and it does the decorating for you, no baubles to hang or lights to untangle.
