Davina 2 Light Crystal Wall Light - Polished Chrome with Black Shade

The Davina is a 2 light crystal wall light built around a curved polished chrome frame supporting a conical black fabric shade above strings of Asfour cut crystal beads. Two G9 bulbs (sold separately) sit behind the crystal strands, casting light through the beads and up through the shade. The black fabric intensifies the contrast between the chrome, the crystal and the wall, creating a dramatic focal point where the light catches the facets.

Designed for bedrooms, living rooms and hallway feature walls, the Davina mounts flush to the wall with a 180mm projection, making it suitable for circulation spaces without encroaching too far into the room. The 350mm width and 230mm height give the fitting a substantial presence on the wall without overwhelming typical 2.4m ceiling heights. The angled shade directs most of the light upwards and sideways, providing ambient wash rather than direct task light.

The polished chrome finish reflects ambient room light during the day and amplifies bulb light at night. Asfour crystal is lead-free optical crystal cut with multiple facets to maximise light refraction. The black shade is a close-weave fabric that diffuses the upward light while maintaining the colour depth needed to frame the crystal strands beneath. At 0.9kg the fitting is light enough to mount on plasterboard walls with cavity fixings, though masonry fixings are recommended where wall structure allows.

What bulbs does the Davina take?

The fitting takes two G9 capsule bulbs up to 33W each. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white LED G9 bulbs between 3-5W and 2700K-3000K to match the warmth of the polished chrome and reduce glare through the crystal.

Is the Davina dimmable?

Yes, when fitted with dimmable G9 bulbs and connected to a compatible dimmer switch. The dimmer must be rated for the total load of both bulbs and designed for LED if using LED capsules.

Can this be fitted on plasterboard walls?

At 0.9kg the Davina is light enough to mount on plasterboard using heavy-duty cavity fixings. Masonry fixings into brick or block provide the most secure mounting where wall structure permits.

How is the crystal maintained?

The Asfour crystal beads can be wiped gently with a dry microfibre cloth when the fitting is switched off and cool. For heavier dust build-up, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable, but avoid soaking the fabric shade or wetting the chrome frame excessively.
