Description

The Dasan is a 60mm diameter cylindrical pendant light with a brushed chrome aluminium body housing a single GU10 downward-facing lamp fitting. The 110mm-tall cylinder hangs on a 1.25m cable that suspends the fitting from a ceiling rose, directing light downward through the open base of the aluminium tube.

Designed for kitchens, dining tables, breakfast bars and restaurant installations where focused overhead light is needed, the Dasan pairs well with other pendants in a run or cluster. The compact 60mm diameter allows multiple units to be spaced 300-500mm apart over a worktop or table without visual crowding. The 1.25m cable length suits standard UK ceiling heights of 2.4m and can be shortened during installation if needed for lower ceilings or closer suspension.

The brushed chrome finish on the aluminium body provides a soft metallic appearance that suits modern, industrial and commercial interiors. The Dasan uses Knightsbridge's tool-free cable connector system — the mains cable pushes into a spring-loaded terminal inside the ceiling rose, eliminating the need for a screwdriver during installation and enabling loop-in/loop-out wiring where multiple pendants are being fitted in sequence. The GU10 fitting accepts any standard GU10 LED, halogen or SmartKnight lamp up to 10W (sold separately).

What bulb does the Dasan take?

The pendant uses a standard GU10 fitting rated up to 10W maximum. Bulbs are sold separately. Most installations pair this with a GU10 LED between 4-7W and 3000K-4000K for kitchen or dining use. Knightsbridge's own GU10 LED and SmartKnight bulbs are compatible.

Is the Dasan dimmable?

Dimming depends on the GU10 bulb fitted. The pendant itself has no electronic components that would prevent dimming — if a dimmable GU10 LED is installed and paired with a compatible LED dimmer, the pendant will dim.

Can the cable length be adjusted?

The 1.25m cable can be shortened during installation by looping the excess inside the ceiling rose or cutting and re-terminating, but it cannot be lengthened beyond the supplied 1.25m without replacing the cable entirely.
