Description

The Dasan is a 200mm long cylindrical pendant light machined from brushed chrome aluminium, with a 60mm diameter body and a GU10 downlight fitting at the base. The 750mm cable drop suspends the cylinder from a matching brushed chrome ceiling rose with an integrated tool-free cable connector, allowing quick loop-in/loop-out installation without terminal blocks.

Designed for installation above kitchen islands, dining tables, bar counters and hospitality settings, the Dasan directs light downward in a focused beam determined by the GU10 bulb choice. The long body creates a vertical accent in spaces with ceiling heights above 2.4m, while the narrow 60mm diameter keeps the visual presence minimal. The IP20 rating suits dry interior environments including kitchens, dining rooms, restaurants and retail.

The brushed chrome finish on the aluminium body gives a cool metallic tone that pairs with stainless steel appliances, polished chrome taps and contemporary grey-toned interiors. The pendant accepts any standard GU10 bulb up to 10W (sold separately), including Knightsbridge's own dimmable, non-dimmable and SmartKnight controllable options across a range of colour temperatures from 2700K warm white to 6500K daylight.

What bulb does the Dasan take?

The pendant takes a standard GU10 bulb up to 10W, sold separately. Knightsbridge produces dimmable, non-dimmable and SmartKnight controllable GU10 options in colour temperatures from 2700K to 6500K, all compatible with this fitting.

Is the pendant dimmable?

Dimming depends on the GU10 bulb fitted. If you install a dimmable GU10 bulb and pair it with a compatible dimmer switch on the circuit, the pendant will dim. Non-dimmable GU10 bulbs do not support dimming.

How is the cable connector fitted?

The ceiling rose includes a tool-free cable connector with loop-in/loop-out functionality. Push the mains cable into the connector until it clicks, then pull gently to confirm the grip. No screwdriver or terminal block is needed, reducing installation time on multi-pendant runs.

Can the cable length be shortened?

The 750mm cable is factory-set. If a shorter drop is needed, excess cable can be coiled inside the ceiling void above the rose, but the cable itself should not be cut as this may affect the tool-free connector.
