Description

The Dalston is a 46 x 46cm rectangular wall mirror set in a wooden frame finished in silver paint. The frame profile runs approximately 30mm wide around the mirror glass, with a shallow bevelled edge that catches light at an angle. Total depth from wall to front face is 4.5cm including the frame and rear hanging plate.

Designed for hallways, bedrooms and above console tables where a vertical rectangular mirror serves as both function and accent, the Dalston hangs portrait or landscape on standard wall fixings (not included). The mirror glass is set into the wooden frame and sealed at the rear with a backing board to protect the silvering. The proportions work above a narrow hallway console, next to a wardrobe, or flanking a bedroom window where two identical mirrors can create symmetry.

The wooden frame is painted rather than foiled, giving a consistent matt-metallic silver finish that reflects ambient light without the high shine of polished chrome. At 46cm square the mirror provides full head-and-shoulders reflection at typical standing distance (1-1.5m), making it practical for checking appearance before leaving the house. The 5-15kg weight range depends on the thickness of the mirror glass and density of the wood used in the frame — most units fall between 8-10kg.
