The Dalston is a 46 x 46cm rectangle wall mirror set in a wood frame finished in bronze. The frame sits 4.5cm proud of the wall and wraps a bevelled mirror glass that reflects and amplifies available light in the room. The bronze finish gives a warm metallic tone that sits between copper and brass, with a subtle sheen that changes depending on the angle of daylight or artificial light hitting the surface.

Designed for bedrooms, hallways and living rooms where a mid-sized mirror is needed for checking appearance or widening a narrow space visually, the Dalston works in portrait or landscape orientation depending on the wall area available. The 46cm square makes it large enough to function as a full-torso check mirror when mounted at eye height, or as a decorative accent above a console table or sideboard. The 5-15kg weight requires appropriate wall fixings for the wall type — typically two mirror plates or D-rings into a solid wall.

The wood frame is stained and sealed in a bronze metallic finish that pairs comfortably with warm-toned interiors, brass or copper fixtures, and walnut or oak furniture. Given the 5-15kg weight range, use heavy-duty plasterboard fixings rated to at least 20kg per fixing, or locate wall studs and fix directly into solid timber. Two fixings are recommended for stability.

Is the bronze finish on the frame or the glass?

The bronze finish is applied to the wood frame only. The glass is standard clear mirror glass with a bevelled edge.

How is the frame cleaned?

Wipe the frame with a soft, dry cloth. For the mirror glass, use standard glass cleaner or a solution of distilled water and white vinegar applied to a lint-free cloth. Avoid letting liquid pool on the wood frame or run behind the glass.
