The Cusco is a hexagonal lampshade in cream fabric with a six-sided profile, measuring 19cm across the top rim, 35.5cm across the bottom rim, and 27cm in height. The hexagon geometry creates flat panels that diffuse light differently from traditional round or empire shades, producing alternating zones of brighter and softer illumination as the light passes through the fabric and bounces off the angled panels.

Designed as a replacement shade for table lamps and floor lamps with standard UK lampshade carriers (duplex or spider fittings), the Cusco suits living rooms, bedrooms and dining rooms where a classic cream shade is needed with a less conventional silhouette. The 35.5cm bottom diameter pairs comfortably with table lamp bases between 30-45cm tall, preventing the shade from overwhelming the base or appearing undersized. The shade accepts bulbs up to 60W and works with E27, E14 and B22 bulb fittings depending on the carrier type (carrier not included).

The Cusco requires a standard UK duplex or spider lampshade carrier, which sits on the bulb holder of your table or floor lamp. The shade itself does not include the carrier — it clips or rests onto an existing carrier fitted to your lamp base.

What size lamp base does it suit?

The 35.5cm bottom diameter works best with table lamp bases between 30-45cm tall. On shorter bases the shade can appear oversized; on taller bases it may look undersized. Measure your existing base height before ordering to confirm proportions.

Is the shade lined?

Yes. The cream outer fabric has a separate inner lining that reflects and diffuses light more evenly, reducing visible bulb glare and producing a softer ambient glow than unlined shades.

Can I use LED bulbs?

Yes. The 60W maximum rating applies to traditional incandescent and halogen bulbs. LED bulbs run cooler and typically draw 6-12W for equivalent brightness, so any standard E27, E14 or B22 LED bulb is compatible depending on your lamp's bulb fitting.
