Description

This Knightsbridge curved grid rocker cover is a replacement rocker module for Curved Edge grid switch systems, laser-printed with 'FRIDGE' designation. Made from white thermoset resin, the rocker measures 30.6mm high by 15.9mm wide and snaps onto a standard Curved Edge grid module to replace a blank or differently labelled rocker.

Designed for kitchen installations where appliances are controlled via grid switches, the rocker allows quick identification of the fridge circuit among multiple switches in a single grid plate. The laser-printed text is permanent and will not fade or rub off with repeated use. The rocker can be removed and replaced without tools by pulling it forward from the grid module, allowing labels to be changed if appliances are relocated or circuits reassigned.

The white thermoset resin construction includes anti-microbial properties tested to ISO 22196:2011, making the rocker suitable for commercial kitchens, care homes and food preparation areas where surface hygiene matters. The IP20 rating confirms protection against solid objects larger than 12.5mm, and the rocker carries a 25-year warranty. It is compatible only with Knightsbridge Curved Edge grid systems — it will not fit other grid ranges or standard rocker switches.

Is this compatible with standard grid systems?

No. This rocker is designed exclusively for Knightsbridge Curved Edge grid modules. It will not fit standard flat-edge grid systems or other manufacturers' grids.

Can the rocker be removed and reused?

Yes. The rocker pulls forward off the grid module without tools and can be re-fitted to a different module or replaced with another designation if needed. This allows circuits to be relabelled without replacing the entire grid plate.

What does the anti-microbial rating mean?

The thermoset resin has been tested to ISO 22196:2011, which measures the ability of a surface to inhibit bacterial growth. This makes the rocker suitable for environments where hygiene is a concern, such as commercial kitchens and care facilities.
