Description

This clip-on lampshade pairs vertical black glass rods with a black chrome metal frame and a border of cut crystal droplets at the base. The shade measures 130mm diameter at the widest point, tapering to 65mm at the top, with a 120mm overall height. It clips directly onto an exposed E14 bulb holder without requiring a separate carrier or harp, making it compatible with multi-arm chandeliers and wall lights where individual bulbs need shading.

Designed for use on decorative chandeliers rather than as standalone task lighting, the black glass rods filter light while allowing most of the bulb's output to pass through the gaps between the rods. The crystal droplets catch and refract light from the bulb, adding decorative detail to the shade's lower edge. The black chrome frame gives the shade a dark metallic finish that pairs with both polished chrome and matt black metalwork on the parent fitting.

Is the crystal border replaceable if damaged?

The crystal droplets are individually strung onto the metal frame. If one becomes detached it can usually be re-attached using the existing wire loop, though replacement crystals are not sold separately by Diyas.
