The Cross wall light is a long, low bar of light made from stacked Gold Leaf bands, each set slightly offset from the one beneath it. White strips run between and below the bands and glow when it is on, drawing fine lines of light across the wall. It is finished in Gold Leaf, whose crinkled, uneven surface keeps its warmth even when the light is off. It is 60cm wide and 11.5cm tall. The light source is an integrated LED, so there is no bulb to buy or change, and it gives 4680 lumens from 40W at 3000K, a warm white, with a CRI of 80.

That is a generous output for a wall light, so the Cross can light a room on its own or work alongside a ceiling light. Above a sideboard in a dining room, beside a sofa in a living room or over the bed in a bedroom, its long horizontal line suits a broad stretch of wall.
