The Cross LED wall light is 60cm wide and 11.5cm tall, finished in Brushed Brass and made of two slim bars stacked one above the other and set slightly off line, so the pair seems to step across the wall. Each bar carries a band of light along its underside, giving a layered, architectural look: clean lines by day and soft bands of light by evening. The light source is an integrated LED, so there is never a bulb to buy or change. It draws 40W and gives 4680 lumens at 3000K, a warm white, with a colour rendering index of 80.

We think it sits most happily in a living room, a dining room or a bedroom. Its length makes it a natural partner for wide furniture: run it above a sofa, over a sideboard, or above a bed in place of a pair of bedside lights. With that much output it can do real work as well as set a mood, lighting a dining wall or a reading corner rather than simply marking it. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only, and it is made for indoor use.

The Cross comes in two dimming versions, so choose the one that suits how you switch your lights: non-dimmable, or DALI or push dimmable. The DALI or push dimmable version works with a compatible DALI control or a push switch, letting you bring the light down for a quiet evening; the non-dimmable version runs from a standard switch. Either way it runs on 230V mains and is wired in by a qualified electrician. The Brushed Brass finish has a soft, even sheen that sits comfortably beside warm woods, pale walls and darker paint alike.
