Description

The Cristal Round is a 280mm LED flush ceiling light with a polished chrome outer ring, a frosted glass diffuser and a pattern of clear crystal-style elements set into the centre. An integrated 12W LED behind the diffuser delivers 1200 lumens of 4000K cool white light across a 120° beam angle, casting general illumination downward through the frosted glass while the crystal details scatter small highlights.

Designed for rooms with low ceilings or where a projecting pendant would obstruct head clearance, the Cristal sits 75mm from the ceiling and fixes directly to a standard UK ceiling rose. The 4000K colour temperature produces a neutral white light closer to daylight than warm white LEDs, making the fitting suitable for kitchens, hallways and home offices where task visibility matters more than ambient warmth. The chrome mirror finish reflects adjacent ceiling colour and ceiling-mounted elements.

The frosted diffuser softens the LED source into an even wash, preventing visible hotspots or diode patterns when viewed from below. The crystal-style elements embedded in the diffuser add textural interest without the weight or fragility of cut crystal droplets used in traditional flush mounts. At 1.65kg the fitting mounts securely to plasterboard ceilings with the correct fixings, and the shallow 75mm projection ensures the light reads as part of the ceiling plane rather than a separate object hanging below it.

No. The integrated 12W LED is non-dimmable and should not be paired with a dimmer switch.

What colour temperature is 4000K?

4000K is a cool white colour temperature, producing a neutral daylight-style white rather than the warmer yellow-toned white of 2700K-3000K LEDs. This makes it suitable for task-focused rooms like kitchens and offices where visibility matters more than ambient warmth.

What ceiling height does it suit?

The 75mm projection makes the Cristal suitable for any ceiling height, but it is particularly useful in rooms with ceiling heights below 2.4m where pendant lights would obstruct head clearance. The shallow flush mount keeps the fitting close to the ceiling plane.

How is the chrome frame cleaned?

Wipe the polished chrome ring with a dry microfibre cloth to remove dust and fingerprints. For smudges, a barely-damp cloth is acceptable, but avoid spraying cleaning products directly onto the chrome or allowing moisture into the LED housing.
