Description

The Crilbessa is a square LED flush ceiling light in chrome. It is 29cm long, 29cm wide and only 7cm high, so it sits close to the ceiling. A stainless steel body carries a satin glass panel in white with clear edges, divided into four squares, and each square holds a round adjustable spotlight. The fitting takes four GU10 lamps at 2.8W each, giving 250 lumens per light, and its IP20 rating settles where it goes: indoors, in a dry room.

Because it keeps so close to the ceiling, this chrome flush light suits rooms where a pendant would hang too low, such as a kitchen, a hallway, a landing or a living room. Four spotlights on one square plate let you send light in several directions from a single fitting: angle one towards a worktop, another towards a shelf and the other two across the room. The chrome and white glass sit comfortably beside modern kitchen units and pale walls, and the square outline lines up neatly with cabinets and shelving.

There is no switch on the light itself. It is switched at the wall and runs at 220-240V, 50/60Hz. Because it is a wired mains light, it is installed by a qualified electrician, and the installation instructions come as a download. Stainless steel resists rust, and the chrome and satin glass need only a soft, dry cloth to keep them bright. When a lamp needs changing, switch off at the wall first and give it a moment to cool. Packed, the light weighs 2.14KG, so it is easy to handle.
