Description

The Creek Square is a 161mm outdoor wall light with a matt black powder-coated aluminium frame surrounding a white acrylic diffuser panel. The integrated 15W LED sits behind the diffuser and outputs 1200 lumens across a 120° beam angle, providing wide-spread illumination for porches, patios, garden walls and building facades.

Designed for year-round outdoor use, the Creek Square carries an IP65 rating, protecting the LED and driver from dust ingress and water jets from any direction. The CCT switchable function allows the colour temperature to be set at 2700K extra warm white, 3300K warm white, or 4000K cool white via a small switch on the fitting before installation, giving flexibility to match the light tone to the surroundings without changing the bulb.

The matt black finish on the aluminium frame creates a low-reflection surface that recedes into dark facades or provides contrast against rendered, painted or cladded walls in lighter tones. The square profile measures 161mm on each side with a 111mm projection from the wall once fitted. The acrylic diffuser disperses the LED output evenly across the panel face, avoiding visible hot spots and providing a soft glow rather than a directional beam.

The Creek Square mounts to standard outdoor electrical back boxes using concealed fixings, with cable entry through the rear of the housing. At 0.44kg the fitting is light enough for single-person installation on most wall substrates. The integrated LED is rated for approximately 25,000 hours of use and is non-replaceable, so the entire fitting is replaced at end of life.

How is the colour temperature changed?

The CCT switch is accessed on the fitting before installation. Set it to 2700K for extra warm white, 3300K for warm white, or 4000K for cool white. Once installed and powered, the setting cannot be changed without removing the fitting from the wall.

Can it be used in coastal or exposed locations?

The IP65 rating protects against dust and water jets, making it suitable for most UK outdoor environments including sheltered coastal areas. In very exposed coastal locations with salt spray, periodic cleaning and inspection is recommended to maintain the finish and seals.

Is the LED replaceable?

No. The integrated LED is rated for approximately 25,000 hours and is not user-replaceable. When the LED reaches end of life, the entire fitting is replaced.

What size back box is needed?

The Creek Square mounts to a standard outdoor electrical back box with cable entry through the rear of the housing. The 111mm projection accommodates most flush or surface-mounted back boxes. Ensure the back box is rated for outdoor use and sealed appropriately.
