Cotton Wall Light 20cm - White Glass

The Cotton is a wall light built around a plump globe of white acid-etched blown glass that sits close to the wall on a small metal base. The frosted glass spreads a soft, even glow in every direction rather than a directed beam, so lit it reads as a gentle ball of light and unlit as a plain white sphere. This is the largest of the three sizes, a full 200mm globe that carries the most light.

At 200mm across and standing 160mm off the wall, it gives a broad, soft pool that suits a larger wall: beside a bed or sofa, along a wider landing, or as a single rounded glow in a living room. Its higher wattage cap makes it the brightest of the three while keeping the same even, glare-free spread.

The base is powder-painted metal and the diffuser is white acid-etched blown glass. It takes a single E14 bulb up to 28W, which is not included, so the colour temperature follows whichever lamp is fitted. It is rated IP20 for dry indoor rooms and arrives ready to wire to the wall.

What kind of light does the Cotton give?

A soft, diffuse glow. The white acid-etched glass globe spreads light evenly around itself rather than throwing a beam, so it reads as a gentle ball of light on the wall.

Does it come with a bulb?

No. This size takes a single E14 bulb up to 28W, which is supplied separately, so you can choose the brightness and colour of the light. We are happy to include a suitable lamp with your order.

Can it be dimmed?

Dimming depends on the bulb fitted. Fit a dimmable E14 lamp on a compatible dimmer switch and it will dim; a standard bulb will not. We can advise on the right lamp before you order.

How big is it and where does it suit?

The glass globe is 200mm across and sits 160mm off the wall, the largest of the three sizes. It suits a bedside or sofa pair, a wider landing or a living room wall.
