Description

The Cotswold Lane is a 2570mm tall lamp post with a black powder-coated aluminium frame and three E14 bulb sockets inside a Victorian-style lantern head. Clear bevelled glass panels on all four sides of the head allow light from the three candle-style bulbs (sold separately) to cast a bright, multi-directional glow across driveways, front gardens and pathway junctions.

Designed for external ground mounting in front gardens, the post requires a concrete foundation or post-mounting kit (available separately). The 305mm-square lantern head sits at 2570mm height, which is high enough to provide visibility and wayfinding light along driveways and paths while remaining within typical residential boundary sight lines. The IP44 rating protects the electrical components from rain and splashed water, making the post suitable for open UK gardens year-round.

The black finish on the aluminium body and cast detailing mirrors Victorian gas lantern proportions, with a domed top, flared moulding at the waist, and a stepped base section that transitions down the column. The bevelled edges on each glass panel refract light at different angles, giving a more varied light pattern than flat glass. Each of the three E14 sockets accepts bulbs up to 60W, allowing either traditional filament candles or LED equivalents depending on preferred light colour and energy use.
