Description

The Cosmos is a single pendant light built around a 150mm clear ribbed glass globe suspended from a cream-painted metal canopy with aged brass fittings. The globe features vertical ribbing cut into the glass, which catches and refracts light from the single E14 bulb inside (sold separately). The aged brass metalwork sits at the neck of the globe and provides a warm metallic accent against the cream-painted canopy and cable.

Designed for hallways, kitchens over breakfast bars, and bedrooms, the Cosmos works individually over a console table or in multiples along a galley kitchen or narrow hall. The 3000mm cable is adjustable on installation, allowing the pendant to be set at the required drop depending on ceiling height and the surface it sits above. The compact 150mm globe diameter suits spaces where a larger pendant would dominate.

The cream-painted finish on the canopy and upper cable run gives a soft, warm neutral that pairs with both traditional and mid-century interiors. The aged brass at the neck of the globe provides a patinated, lived-in tone that sits comfortably in homes with existing brass door furniture, cabinet hardware, or period lighting. The clear ribbed glass shows the bulb inside, so the pendant works well with decorative filament LED candle bulbs or classic incandescent-style LEDs.

What bulb does the Cosmos take?

The pendant takes one E14 small Edison screw bulb up to 8W LED (equivalent to approximately 60W incandescent). Bulbs are sold separately. The clear ribbed glass shows the bulb, so decorative filament LED candle bulbs work particularly well.

Can the drop height be adjusted after installation?

The 3000mm cable is adjustable during installation only. Once the pendant is wired and the excess cable secured inside the ceiling rose, the drop is fixed. Plan the required height before fitting.

Is the glass hand-blown?

The ribbed globe is machine-pressed glass rather than hand-blown. The vertical ribbing is moulded into the glass during manufacture, giving consistent pattern and thickness across the globe.

Can multiple Cosmos pendants be used together?

Yes. The compact 150mm globe diameter makes the Cosmos well-suited to installation in multiples along a kitchen island, hallway or above a dining table. Space individual pendants 600-800mm apart for balanced coverage.
