Description

The Cosmos is a 540mm flush ceiling light built around seven G9 lamp holders housed within a polished chrome circular frame, with multiple rows of Asfour cut-crystal chains suspended beneath the canopy. The crystal strands hang in concentric rings that taper towards the centre, forming a dome-shaped profile with a 125mm drop from ceiling to lowest point.

Designed for rooms where a low ceiling rules out pendant lighting but a decorative fitting is still wanted, the Cosmos fits living rooms, dining rooms and bedrooms with ceiling heights from 2.3m upwards. The flush-mount chrome canopy sits directly against the ceiling and conceals the wiring, while the crystals hang below to catch and refract light from the seven bulbs. Each crystal is facet-cut to split the light into prismatic reflections across walls and ceilings when the fitting is switched on.

The polished chrome frame amplifies the light thrown by the crystals, creating additional reflections that build the overall brightness without increasing wattage. The fixture weighs 6.9kg, requiring secure fixing to a ceiling joist or reinforced mounting point rather than plasterboard alone.
