Description

The Copenhagen is an outdoor pendant light with a galley-style shade in silver powder-coated 304 stainless steel, suspended on an adjustable chain from a matching ceiling canopy. A clear glass cylinder sits at the centre of the shade, housing an E27 bulb (sold separately) and protected by a metal cage guard. The fitting carries an IP44 rating for water and dust resistance, making it suitable for covered porches, pergolas, and coastal outdoor areas where salt air and moisture are present.

Designed for installation under covered outdoor ceilings, the Copenhagen works above entryways, on front porches, over patio dining areas, and along covered walkways where both decorative and functional light is needed. The chain length can be shortened on installation to suit ceiling heights between 2.2m and 3m, with the pendant typically hung 1.8-2m above ground level to provide headroom clearance. The clear glass allows full light output from the bulb while the metal shade prevents glare from above.

The 304-grade stainless steel construction resists corrosion in coastal and damp environments better than mild steel or aluminium fittings, and the powder-coated silver finish adds a protective layer over the metal without concealing the industrial cage detail.
