The Contessa is a square-tapered fabric lampshade with a white cotton exterior, measuring 13cm at the top rim, 20.5cm at the base and 18.5cm in height. The shade fits standard E27 or E14 lamp holders (lamp holder not included) and accepts bulbs up to 40W, making it suitable for table lamps, bedside lamps and wall lights where a compact shade is needed.

Designed for smaller fixtures in bedrooms, side tables and hallway wall lights, the square taper profile gives the shade a more geometric presence than traditional drum or empire shapes. The white fabric diffuses light evenly, softening the direct glare from a bare bulb while maintaining brightness across the room. The fabric lining provides structural support and prevents light from showing through the seams or stitching.
