Eleven E14 bulbs (sold separately) sit within the frame, with light refracting through the cascading crystals to create ambient illumination and decorative sparkle. The 310mm drop from ceiling to base fits rooms with ceiling heights of 2.2m or above without excessive overhang.

Designed for living rooms, dining rooms and hallways where a semi-flush or chandelier would sit too low, the Coniston provides the visual weight of a traditional crystal light in a compact vertical profile. The rectangular footprint of 967mm x 387mm suits spaces approximately 4-5m long, such as dining tables, galley kitchens or hallway runs. What ceiling height is needed?

The 310mm drop from ceiling to the base of the crystals works in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.2m or above. Lower ceilings can still accommodate the fitting, though headroom beneath will be reduced.

How is it fixed to the ceiling?

The 21.8kg weight requires the ceiling fixing plate to be screwed into a timber joist or noggin — plasterboard fixings alone are not sufficient. If installing into a plastered ceiling, locate a joist or install a noggin between joists before fitting.

Can it be dimmed?

Yes, if paired with dimmable E14 LED bulbs and a compatible trailing-edge dimmer switch. Leading-edge dimmers may cause flicker or buzzing with LED bulbs.
