Coniston 4 Light Crystal Bathroom Wall Light - Antique Brass

The Coniston is a 4-light crystal wall light built around an antique brass backplate and tiered arms that hold cascading rows of clear faceted crystal droplets. Four G9 bulb fittings sit within the frame, and when lit the bulbs cast light through the crystals which refract and multiply the output across bathroom walls and ceilings. The fitting carries an IP44 rating, making it suitable for bathroom zones 2 and 3 where direct water jets are not present.

Designed for installation above or beside bathroom mirrors and on vanity walls, the Coniston provides both task and decorative lighting. The 230mm width and 290mm height suit medium to large bathrooms without dominating narrow walls, and the 140mm projection from the wall allows the crystals to stand clear of the mounting surface so light can pass through from all angles. The four G9 fittings together accept up to 40W total load when using four 10W LED capsule bulbs.

The antique brass finish has a warmer, slightly darker tone than polished brass, with a brushed texture that reduces reflections and complements traditional, heritage and warmer-toned bathroom schemes. Each tier of crystals overlaps the tier below, creating depth and movement as the droplets catch different angles of light throughout the day. The fitting weighs 2.5kg and requires secure fixing to a solid wall or suitable backing behind plasterboard.

Can this be installed in a bathroom shower area?

The IP44 rating makes the Coniston suitable for bathroom zones 2 and 3, which are areas at least 60cm from a shower head or bath edge. It is not rated for zone 1 (directly above a bath or shower) or zone 0 (inside the bath or shower enclosure itself).

What bulbs does it take?

The fitting takes four G9 capsule bulbs up to 10W each (sold separately). Most users pair this with warm-white LED G9 bulbs at 2700K-3000K and 4-6W per bulb for bathroom task lighting. Dimmable bulbs are required if connecting to a dimmer switch.

Is it dimmable?

Yes, provided you fit dimmable G9 LED bulbs and connect the fitting to a compatible LED dimmer switch. Standard non-dimmable bulbs will not dim and may flicker or fail if used on a dimmer circuit.

How is the crystal cleaned?

Switch off the power and allow the bulbs to cool fully before cleaning. Wipe each crystal droplet with a dry microfibre cloth. For stubborn marks, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable, but avoid soaking the brass frame or electrical components and do not use chemical sprays.
