The Coniston is a 350mm diameter crystal pendant light with three E14 bulb holders arranged inside a sphere of layered cut crystal droplets, suspended on a polished chrome chain. The crystals are shaped with faceted edges and rounded contours, arranged in overlapping tiers that taper from a wider upper section to a narrower base finished with a single crystal ball drop.

Designed for dining tables, kitchen islands, bedrooms and hallways where ceiling heights allow for a 450mm minimum drop, the Coniston provides both ambient light through the crystal diffusion and decorative sparkle from the faceted surfaces. The adjustable drop of 450-1490mm accommodates different installation heights, allowing the pendant to be positioned 700-900mm above a dining table or lower in a double-height entrance hall. The 350mm diameter suits spaces 3-4m wide without overwhelming the room.

Each crystal piece is individually hung from the polished chrome internal frame, creating movement and refraction as light passes through the facets. The chrome finish provides a cool reflective contrast to the clear crystal, working in both traditional and contemporary settings. The combined crystal and metal construction gives the pendant a substantial 8kg weight, requiring secure ceiling fixings rated for the load. Bulbs are sold separately, allowing choice of colour temperature and output to suit the room.

The pendant takes three E14 small Edison screw bulbs, each up to 20W maximum. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users choose warm-white LED candle bulbs between 4-6W and 2700K-3000K for dining and living spaces.

Yes, if paired with dimmable E14 bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch. The fixture itself supports dimming, but the bulbs must also be rated as dimmable for the system to work.

How is the crystal cleaned?

Switch off the power at the mains. Use a dry microfibre cloth to remove dust from each crystal piece. For more thorough cleaning, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable, but avoid soaking the metal frame and allow crystals to air-dry fully before switching the power back on.
