Coniston 2 Light Crystal Bathroom Wall Light - Antique Brass

The Coniston is a 200mm square crystal wall light with two G9 bulb fittings behind layered tiers of faceted crystal drops, mounted on an antique brass backplate. The IP44 rating allows installation in bathroom zone two (60cm+ from water sources), where the crystal tiers catch light from vanity mirrors and create prismatic reflections across wet surfaces.

Designed for bathroom mirror flanking, bedroom wall accent positions and hallway installations where a compact decorative light source is needed, the Coniston projects 110mm from the wall and casts direct light through the crystal layers while reflecting fractured patterns onto surrounding surfaces. The two G9 sockets each take up to 10W LED capsule bulbs (sold separately), giving the option to choose warm white (2700K-3000K) for bathrooms or cooler tones for task-lit areas.

The antique brass frame has a darker, aged finish compared to polished brass, pairing well with heritage bathroom fittings, aged copper taps and traditional tile work. Each tier of crystal consists of oval faceted drops arranged in overlapping rings, with the largest drops at the base and smaller drops graduating towards the ceiling mount. The weight of 1.7kg requires fixing into solid wall substrate or wall anchors rated for the load.

Can this be used in a bathroom?

Yes. The IP44 rating allows installation in bathroom zone two, which means it must be at least 60cm away from baths, showers and basin taps. It cannot be installed directly above a bath or in a shower enclosure (those positions require IP65 or higher).

What bulbs does it take?

The Coniston takes two G9 capsule bulbs up to 10W each. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with warm white LED G9 capsules between 2700K-3000K for bathrooms.

Is it dimmable?

Yes, provided you use dimmable G9 LED bulbs and pair the fitting with a compatible LED dimmer switch. Not all G9 LEDs are dimmable, so check the bulb packaging before purchasing.

How are the crystals cleaned?

Switch off and allow the bulbs to cool. Remove dust with a dry microfibre cloth or feather duster. For more thorough cleaning, remove individual crystal drops by hand and wipe with a barely-damp cloth, then dry before reattaching. Avoid chemical cleaners and household sprays, which can damage the crystal finish.
