The Coniston is a 660mm diameter crystal chandelier built from twelve E14 bulb fittings arranged across tiered layers of clear faceted crystal, all hung on an antique brass frame. The crystals are arranged in graduated tiers that taper towards a single terminating crystal drop at the base, forming a spherical silhouette when viewed from the side. Each crystal is individually faceted and hung on brass wire pins, creating overlapping rows that refract light across multiple surfaces.

Designed for entrance halls, dining rooms and living rooms with ceiling heights of 2.6m or higher, the Coniston delivers both ambient and decorative light. The twelve E14 bulbs sit behind the outer crystal tiers, so light passes through the crystal layers before reaching the room, creating scattered refractions and bright points across the faceted surfaces. The drop is adjustable between 840mm and 2270mm on installation, allowing the chandelier to be positioned 700-900mm above a dining table or raised higher in double-height entrance spaces.

The antique brass finish on the frame and canopy has a darker, slightly oxidised tone compared to polished brass, giving warmth without high reflectivity. What bulbs does the Coniston take?

The chandelier takes twelve E14 small Edison screw bulbs, sold separately. Most users fit LED candle bulbs rated between 4-6W in warm white (2700K-3000K) for ambient light. The maximum wattage per bulb is 20W.

Is it dimmable?

Yes, provided you fit dimmable bulbs and pair the chandelier with a compatible dimmer switch. The frame and crystal do not restrict dimming — compatibility depends on the bulbs and dimmer model you choose.
