Description

The Concord is a 2-light bathroom wall light in polished chrome with opal-etched glass shades, carrying an IP44 rating for safe use in bathroom zones 2 and 3. Two bevelled four-sided glass shades sit on curved goose-neck arms extending from a chamfered backplate, with each shade housing a single G9 bulb. The fitting includes two 3W G9 LED bulbs at 3000K, providing warm-white light diffused through the etched glass.

Designed for mounting above bathroom mirrors or vanity units, the Concord provides even task lighting across a width of 356mm without creating harsh shadows on faces during grooming. The 152mm projection from the wall positions the light forward of the mirror surface, directing illumination downward and slightly forward rather than back onto the wall. The fitting suits double vanities or wider single mirrors in bathrooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above.

The polished chrome finish reflects ambient light and pairs with chrome taps, towel rails and accessories common in traditional and transitional bathroom schemes. The opal-etched glass softens the LED point source and reduces glare when viewed from the side. The chamfered edges on the backplate and bevelled glass profile reference colonial-era detailing while the clean lines and reflective chrome finish suit contemporary bathrooms as easily as period restorations.

Is this suitable for bathrooms?

Yes. The IP44 rating makes the Concord safe for use in bathroom zones 2 and 3, which includes positions above sinks, vanities and mirrors outside the direct spray zones around baths and showers. It should not be installed in zone 0 (inside a bath or shower enclosure) or zone 1 (directly above a bath or shower).

Does it come with bulbs?

Yes. The fitting includes two 3W G9 LED bulbs at 3000K colour temperature. The bulbs are integrated into the purchase and do not need to be ordered separately.

What is the light output?

Each 3W G9 LED bulb provides approximately 250 lumens, giving a combined output of around 500 lumens across both shades. This is sufficient for bathroom task lighting over a mirror or vanity unit but is not designed as the sole light source for a larger bathroom.

Can the bulbs be replaced?

Yes. The G9 bulbs are replaceable. When a bulb fails, unscrew the glass shade from the fitting, remove the old G9 bulb by pulling it straight out of the socket, and push a new 3W LED G9 bulb into place before reattaching the shade.
