Description

The Concord is a single-light bathroom wall light with a polished chrome backplate, classical gooseneck arm, and a four-sided opal etched glass shade with bevelled corners. The fitting carries an IP44 rating for safe use in bathroom zones 2 and 3, and includes a 3W LED G9 bulb delivering 3000K warm white light through the etched glass diffuser.

Designed for mirror lighting in bathrooms, the Concord also suits hallways, dressing rooms and bedroom reading positions where a compact wall-mounted light is needed. The 152mm projection from the wall positions the shade clear of the mounting surface, while the 257mm height keeps the bulb at eye level when fitted at standard mirror height (1600-1800mm from floor). The chamfered-edge backplate and cut-corner detailing give architectural definition without adding visual bulk, allowing the fitting to work in smaller bathrooms and narrow hallways where projection is limited.

The opal etched glass softens the LED output and eliminates glare when the bulb is visible in a mirror reflection. The polished chrome finish resists moisture and fingerprints better than brushed finishes in high-traffic bathroom environments, and pairs with chrome taps, towel rails and mirror frames. What bathroom zones is this suitable for?

The IP44 rating makes the Concord safe for bathroom zones 2 and 3. Zone 2 is the area directly above the bath or shower to a height of 2.25m, and zone 3 is anywhere outside zones 0, 1 and 2 up to 3m from the bath or shower. The fitting is not rated for zones 0 or 1 (inside or directly above the bath/shower enclosure).

Is the bulb replaceable?

Yes. The fitting includes a 3W LED G9 bulb but this can be replaced with any G9 LED up to the maximum 3W rating. The opal etched glass shade unscrews from the gooseneck arm to access the bulb socket.

Can it be installed in pairs either side of a mirror?

Yes. The compact 117mm width and symmetrical design make the Concord well-suited to paired installation. For a typical 600-800mm bathroom mirror, position the lights 400-600mm apart (measured centre-to-centre) at a height of 1600-1800mm from the floor for balanced illumination.

What colour is the light output?

The included LED bulb is rated at 3000K, which produces a warm white light similar to halogen. The opal etched glass diffuses this further, softening the tone and eliminating any visible LED hotspots.
