Comfort Tunable Floor Lamp - White

The Comfort is an upright reading floor lamp that throws light in two directions at once. A wide head sends a soft wash up to bounce off the ceiling for background fill, while a lower arm points a brighter, more concentrated pool down onto a desk or a book. A polycarbonate diffuser sits over the built-in LED to hold back glare, so the light reads as clean and even rather than harsh from either part.

This is the white version, powder-coated on an aluminium frame, standing 1970mm tall with an arm reaching 1200mm out over the work below. A touch control on the body dims the light and shifts it across a tunable range from a warm 2700K to a cool 5700K, and a built-in sensor can trim the output to the daylight in the room. A USB socket on the lamp charges a phone or tablet at the same spot.

The LED is integrated and rated to 50,000 hours at 76W and 7600 lumens with a colour accuracy above 90 CRI, so colours and print stay true under it and there is no bulb to change. We supply it on a PVC lead with a plug, ready to set beside a desk, an office chair or a living-room reading corner.

What kind of light does the Comfort give?

Can I change the brightness and the warmth?

Yes. A touch control on the body dims the lamp and tunes the white across a range from warm 2700K to cool 5700K, so you can set it warm for evening reading or cool for daytime work. A light sensor can also trim the output to match the daylight in the room.

Does it need a bulb, and does it charge a device?

No bulb is needed; the LED is built in and rated to 50,000 hours, giving 7600 lumens at 76 watts. A USB socket on the lamp lets you charge a phone or tablet at the same spot.

How big is it and where does it suit?

It stands 1970mm tall with an arm reaching 1200mm out, so the downlight falls over a surface beside it. It suits a desk, an office chair or a reading corner in a living room where both task and background light are wanted.
