Colorado 6 Light Crystal Bar Pendant Light - French Gold

The Colorado is a 1200mm crystal bar pendant light carrying six GU10 bulb fittings within a French gold rectangular frame, from which hundreds of individual clear crystals hang on wire strands to create a wave silhouette. The crystals are arranged in a graduated pattern that rises and falls across the 1200mm length, with denser clusters at both ends and a shallower arc in the centre. Each GU10 fitting sits recessed into the gold canopy, directing light down through the crystal strands.

Designed for dining tables, kitchen islands and open-plan living spaces with ceiling heights of 2.6m or above, the Colorado provides both task light directly beneath the fitting and ambient light refracted through the crystals. The 820mm drop from ceiling to base of the crystal wave suits typical dining and island installations where the pendant hangs 700-900mm above the surface. The 1200mm length works over tables seating six to eight or kitchen islands in the 2000-2400mm range.

The French gold finish is a warm, slightly muted gold tone that sits between polished brass and antique brass, pairing comfortably with both warm-toned timber and cooler grey or white interiors. The crystal strands are individually wired, so each can swing slightly when air moves through the room, creating subtle light movement across walls and ceilings. At 9.3kg the pendant requires a secure ceiling fixing capable of supporting the combined weight of frame, crystals and six GU10 bulbs (sold separately).

What bulbs does the Colorado take?

The pendant takes six GU10 bulbs up to 50W each, sold separately. Most users fit 5-7W LED GU10 bulbs in warm white (2700K-3000K) to balance adequate light output with energy efficiency. Dimmable GU10 LEDs are required if you plan to use a dimmer.

What ceiling height is needed?

The 820mm drop from ceiling to base of the crystal wave works best in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.6m or above. Over a dining table the pendant typically sits 700-900mm above the surface, which requires a ceiling height of around 2.5-2.7m depending on table height.

Is the crystal wave adjustable?

No. The crystals are wired to fixed positions on the frame to create the wave pattern. Individual strands may be adjusted slightly during installation if any become tangled, but the overall silhouette is pre-configured by Diyas.

How is the pendant cleaned?

Dust the crystals with a dry microfibre cloth or a soft brush. For deeper cleaning, wipe individual crystals with a barely-damp cloth and distilled water, then dry immediately to avoid water marks. Do not spray cleaning fluid directly onto the pendant or use abrasive materials on the gold frame.
