This Diyas clip-on lampshade consists of 77 individual smoked crystal buttons, each encased in a polished black chrome ring and linked together to form a tapered shade structure. The shade measures 120mm diameter at the base and 100mm in height, with a top opening of 85mm designed to clip directly onto the bulb holder rather than the lamp base itself.

Designed for table lamps, wall lights and small chandeliers using standard SES (E14) or ES (E27) bulb holders, the shade clips onto the bulb holder via a spring-loaded metal clasp. This allows it to be fitted to any existing lamp base or pendant fitting without modifying the electrical connection. The clip-on fitting sits 20-30mm above the bulb, positioning the shade to diffuse light outward through the crystals rather than downward through an open base.

The smoked crystal finish gives each button a grey-tinted transparency, which contrasts with the black chrome metalwork when unlit and creates a warmer amber glow when a filament or warm LED bulb is switched on. The black chrome rings form a structured grid around each crystal, creating distinct facets and reflections that differ from traditional fabric or glass shades.
