The Clerbora is a compact LED outdoor wall light in black: a short cylinder of cast aluminium capped with a round front disc, with a plastic diffuser band set between the two. It is 13.5cm in diameter and stands 13cm out from the wall, so it sits neatly beside a door or a window without crowding it. The integrated LED draws 11W and gives 1,300 lumens at 3000K, a warm white that feels welcoming at the front of a house. It is rated IP44, which means it is protected from splashing water, so it lives outdoors on a house wall in all weathers.

The light leaves through the band that runs around the body, so rather than throwing a hard beam outwards it washes the wall around it in a soft glow. That makes it a good choice beside a front or back door, along a side passage or at the top and bottom of a run of garden steps, where you want to see your footing and the way ahead. Corner mounting is possible, so it can go on the corner of a building as well as on a flat wall. Fitted in a pair either side of a door, or spaced along a long wall, it gives an even rhythm of light that looks considered after dark.

The body is cast aluminium with a black finish and the diffuser is plastic. The LED is built in and cannot be replaced, so there are no bulbs to buy or change. It is not dimmable and has no switch of its own, so it is turned on and off by a wall switch. It runs on 220-240V, 50/60Hz mains and is installed by a qualified electrician, and the installation instructions come as a download. When you plan where it goes on a narrow path, allow for the 13cm it stands out from the wall.
