Description

Our Clam Vase takes its shape from the shell that gives it its name, with a wavy scalloped rim and a rippled surface that runs across the whole body. Made from stoneware, it has a soft cream glaze that catches the light along each ridge, giving the texture a gentle sense of movement. The wide, fanned form makes it a lovely piece to display on its own or to fill with dried stems and seasonal branches.

Every vase is glazed by hand, so slight variations in tone and finish are part of the character and mean no two are exactly alike. The organic outline works well in relaxed, coastal and neutral schemes, and it pairs easily with natural materials like linen, wood and rattan. Sit it on a mantel, sideboard or shelf where the sculptural shape can be seen from the side.

We offer the Clam Vase in two sizes, from a smaller version for tabletops and grouped displays to a larger one that holds its own as a centrepiece. Choose one for a single spot or use both together for a layered look across a room.

How do I clean it?

Wipe the surface with a soft, dry cloth. The ridged texture can hold dust, so a soft brush helps reach between the ripples.
