Description
The Citronic SilentPAR-180 is a PAR can built around 6 x 30W 6-in-1 RGBWA+UV COB LEDs, giving you a wide spread of colours plus ultraviolet in a single fixture. The whisper quiet premium fan keeps the unit running at near-silent levels while still providing the cooling the LEDs need, so it works well in venues and rooms where fan noise would otherwise be a problem. Heat output stays low, which helps keep the fixture stable through long sets.
Control is straightforward. You can run the internal auto, sound-activated and static programs directly from the control panel on the back, or connect it to a DMX-512 desk using 6, 8 or 11 channel modes depending on how much control you want over each colour. The beam angle is 25 degrees, giving a focused wash that suits stages, dancefloors and smaller performance spaces. Twist and lock power connections (in and out) let you link several units together, with DMX in and out handled by 3-pin XLR.
The chassis is heavy duty metal with a stand and bracket, so it holds up to regular transport and setup. It measures 118 x 220 x 220mm and weighs 2.85kg, which keeps it easy to rig and pack away. Power supply covers AC110-240V at 50/60Hz with 150W consumption, so it runs on standard mains here in the UK and abroad. For anyone building a small lighting rig or adding UV to an existing one, the SilentPAR-180 is a practical single-fixture option.
