Description

The Citronic RACK:4U is a 19" flightcase built for the safe transport of rack-mounted audio equipment. It gives you 4U of mounting space, so you can fit amplifiers, processors, mixers and other standard 19" gear into one solid unit that travels well. The removable front and rear lids let you get at both sides of your kit while it stays racked, which makes cabling and setup on the road much easier.

Construction is 9mm vinyl laminated plywood, with washers fitted on all the rivets to strengthen the joints and stop the wood splitting over time. Heavy duty handles and protective corner pieces are fitted as standard, so the case stands up to regular loading, lifting and stacking. This is the sort of build that holds together through repeated gigs, tours and installs rather than a one-off move.

The RACK:4U is part of a wider range, with 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12 and 16U versions available depending on how much rack space you need. If you already run 19" gear, the U measurement (rack units) tells you the height each device takes up, so you can add up your equipment and pick the right size. This 4U model suits smaller mobile rigs or a compact section of a larger setup, keeping your equipment protected without carrying more case than you need.
