Description
The Citronic MagicPAR-220B is a silent PAR can built around 18 x 12W 6-in-1 RGBWA/UV LEDs. Because it uses a fanless design, heat is dissipated through internal and external heatsinks rather than moving air, so there is no fan noise while it runs. That makes it a sensible choice for places of worship, lecture halls and study spaces, or anywhere a quiet room matters. The six colour LEDs produce bright washes covering red, green, blue, white, amber and UV, giving you plenty of scope for coloured lighting and effects.
You can run the unit from the control panel on the back using its built-in auto, sound-activated and static programs, or connect it to a lighting desk over DMX-512 in either 6 or 10 channel mode. Sound-activated mode reacts to music in the room, while static mode holds a fixed colour. Power and DMX both use in and out connections, so several fixtures can be linked in a chain. The power connections are twist and lock, which hold firmly and suit regular setup and teardown.
The chassis and stand bracket are heavy duty metal, giving the fixture the rigidity to sit on a stand or hang from a truss without flexing. It measures 265 x 265 x 245mm and weighs 5.39kg. Power draw is 220W from a universal AC100-240V, 50/60Hz supply, so it works on UK mains without issue. The beam angle is 20 degrees for a focused wash, and DMX runs over a standard 3-pin XLR. The MagicPAR-220 is available in black, with a white version also offered.

Frequently Asked
Does the MagicPAR-220B have a cooling fan?
No. It uses a fanless design that dissipates heat through internal and external heatsinks, so it runs silently. That makes it suited to churches, lecture halls and other quiet spaces.
What LEDs does it use?
It has 18 x 12W 6-in-1 LEDs covering red, green, blue, white, amber and UV, giving a wide range of colour washes from a single fixture.
Can I control it with a DMX desk?
Yes. It is DMX-512 compatible and runs in either 6 or 10 channel mode over a standard 3-pin XLR connection, with DMX in and out for linking fixtures.
Can I use it without a lighting desk?
Yes. The back panel gives you built-in auto, sound-activated and static programs, so you can run it standalone.
Will it work on UK mains?
Yes. It accepts a universal AC100-240V, 50/60Hz supply and draws 220W, so it runs on UK power directly.
What is the beam angle?
The beam angle is 20 degrees, which gives a fairly focused wash suited to lighting specific areas or stages.
