Description

The Citronic D600 is a stereo power amplifier built into a lightweight 1U rack-mountable housing, giving you 2 x 300Wrms to drive medium to large speaker cabinets. The Class-D circuit design converts mains power into audio efficiently, which keeps the unit running cool even when you push it hard. That efficiency also means less weight and less depth in the rack, so it fits neatly into portable and installed systems alike.

Custom cool guide technology helps the amplifier run consistently and reliably over long sessions, and an inbuilt limiter circuit engages at peak output to stop your speakers being overloaded. You can switch between stereo, parallel (mono) and bridge (mono) modes, so the same amp handles a range of jobs. A switchable 75Hz low-cut filter lets you take out low-frequency content when you are running smaller cabinets or feeding a separate subwoofer, and input sensitivity is selectable at 0.775V, 1.0V or 1.44V to match your source.

Connections are straightforward for live sound reinforcement. Inputs are on L+R female XLR sockets, with matching male XLR throughputs so you can pass the signal on to a second amplifier without splitting. Outputs use standard speaker (SPK) connectors, with an extra output provided for bridge mode. Running from a 220-240Vac 50/60Hz IEC supply, the D600 gives you a compact and capable amplifier for demanding PA and installation work.
