Description
The Citronic CSX-18 is a live mixing console (mixing desk) built for stage, conference and theatre work. It gives you 14 mono channels on balanced XLR/jack inputs, plus 2 stereo jack inputs, so you have plenty of room for microphones, line sources and instruments. Every mono channel has gain, 3-band EQ, a switchable pre/post aux send, FX send, pan, a PFL switch and a 60mm fader, which keeps your level control smooth and consistent across the mix.
Phantom power is switchable globally at +48V to all XLR inputs, ready for condenser microphones and active DI boxes. Internal effects come from a 24-bit DSP engine with 16 programs, each with its own level fader and AFL switch for monitoring. The built-in media player accepts a USB memory stick for playback of stored tracks, and it can record the mix output so you can document rehearsals or performances. Bluetooth (BT) wireless pairing lets you stream from a phone or tablet for remote playback.
Global tone shaping is handled by a 7-band graphic EQ, and the master faders feed left and right balanced XLR outputs. A 2-track RCA line input has its own level control for adding a playback source, while the 2-track RCA output can go to recording gear or serve as an extra feed. The frequency response runs 20Hz to 30kHz, THD+N stays below 0.01%, and channel crosstalk is greater than 82dB, so the audio path stays clean and quiet. The desk measures 622 x 402 x 108mm and weighs 6.3kg, running from a universal 100-240Vac IEC supply.

Frequently Asked
How many inputs does the CSX-18 have?
It has 14 mono balanced XLR/jack inputs and 2 stereo jack inputs, plus a 2-track RCA line input for a playback source.
Can it record my mix?
Yes. The built-in media player records the mix output to a USB memory stick, which is handy for documenting rehearsals and performances. There is also a 2-track RCA output for external recording gear.
Does it have Bluetooth?
Yes. The BT receiver lets you pair a phone or tablet for wireless playback through the desk.
What phantom power does it provide?
It supplies +48V phantom power, globally switched to all XLR inputs, so you can run condenser microphones and active DI boxes.
What effects are built in?
A 24-bit DSP engine gives you 16 effect programs, each with an independent level fader and an AFL switch for monitoring.
How is the master EQ set up?
A 7-band graphic EQ handles the overall mix at 63, 160, 500, 1k, 2.5k, 6.3k and 16kHz. Each channel also has its own 3-band EQ.
