Description

The Citronic C-208 is an active line array cabinet built for high SPL output across medium to long throw applications. It pairs two 8" (200mm) main drivers with a 3" compression driven ribbon tweeter, giving wide horizontal coverage of 100 degrees and a tighter 10 degree vertical pattern. All drivers use high flux-density Neodymium magnets, which keep the weight down while converting power into sound pressure efficiently. The whole unit sits in a computer-designed plywood wedge enclosure finished with a polyurea coating.

Power comes from an internal Class-D bi-amplifier rated at 500W plus 100W rms, fully DSP controlled for accurate delivery to each driver across the 45Hz to 20kHz frequency range. Total rms output is 600W, with 1200W peak and a maximum SPL of 128dB at 1W/1m. Mains connection is via Powercon in and through at 230V, 50Hz, so cabinets can be daisy-chained. The 15mm plywood build weighs 22.5kg and measures 690 x 380 x 248mm.

Integral pinlock array hardware and side carry handles let you angle each cabinet for exact coverage of a venue or auditorium. The C-208 can be flown or floor mounted using the optional C-FRAME support assembly, and it partners with the C-118S sub units to extend low-frequency output. The modular format keeps rigging and configuration straightforward, whether you are building a small hang for a function room or a larger array for a live stage. It works as part of a scalable system, so you can add units as your requirements grow.
